Refund policy
MADE-TO-ORDER RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
Submitting a wallet request does not create an order. If Hip-Po accepts the request, the order is formed only when the customer pays the Shopify invoice containing the agreed specifications, charges, production estimate, and supply or ship-by date.
CHANGE-OF-MIND CANCELLATIONS
Because each item is handmade to the customer’s agreed specifications, voluntary changes, exchanges, or change-of-mind cancellations are generally not accepted after production has started. Before production starts, Hip-Po may agree in writing to a requested change or cancellation.
DAMAGE, MAKER ERROR, OR ITEM NOT AS AGREED
Contact Hip-Po promptly, preferably within 7 days after delivery, if the item arrives damaged, was made incorrectly, or materially differs from the paid invoice and agreed specifications. Include photographs where reasonably possible. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, Hip-Po will repair, replace, refund, or provide another appropriate remedy. The requested 7-day notice does not shorten any mandatory legal right.
LATE DELIVERY AND MANDATORY RIGHTS
For a distance sales contract governed by British Columbia law, the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act provides cancellation and refund rights in specified circumstances, including certain late-delivery situations. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived. Any refund required after a valid statutory cancellation will be issued within the period required by applicable law.
RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
Use the Contact form before returning an item. Where a return is required, Hip-Po will provide instructions. Responsibility for return costs will follow the agreement and applicable law.
