Shipping policy

MADE TO ORDER AND WHEN AN ORDER BEGINS

Submitting a wallet request does not create an order or require payment. If Hip-Po accepts a request, we send a Shopify invoice stating the agreed model, materials, price, taxes, shipping cost, production estimate, and supply or ship-by date. An order is formed only when that invoice is paid.

PRODUCTION TIME

Every item is made to order by hand in Vancouver, British Columbia. Our standard production target is approximately 10–14 business days after confirmed payment (about two to three calendar weeks). This is an estimate, not a guaranteed completion date. The supply or ship-by date stated on the Shopify invoice or order confirmation is the date applicable to that order. Complex customization, material availability, holidays, or unusual workload may require more time; any known longer estimate will be disclosed before payment.

SHIPPING COST AND CARRIER

Shipping costs will be confirmed in the Shopify invoice before payment. Orders normally ship with tracking by Canada Post or Canpar. International customers are responsible for applicable import duties, taxes, and customs charges unless the invoice states otherwise.

DELIVERY ESTIMATES AFTER SHIPMENT

Canada: normally 2–8 business days, depending on destination. United States: normally 5–12 business days. Other international destinations: normally 10–25 business days. Carrier transit estimates are separate from production time and may be affected by customs, weather, holidays, and carrier delays.

DELAY AND B.C. STATUTORY RIGHTS

We will contact you if we reasonably expect to miss the stated supply date. For a distance sales contract governed by British Columbia law, the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act provides mandatory cancellation rights in certain circumstances, including when goods are not delivered within 30 days after the supply date stated in the contract, or, if no supply date is stated, within 30 days after the contract was entered into. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer right or remedy.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Before payment, there is no accepted order to cancel. After payment, requested changes or voluntary cancellation may be accepted only if production has not started and Hip-Po agrees in writing. This restriction does not limit cancellation, refund, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

DELIVERY PROBLEMS

Please contact us promptly if tracking is delayed, the parcel is damaged, or the parcel is marked delivered but cannot be found. We will assist with the carrier investigation and provide any remedy required by the contract or applicable law.
